Just to clarify: The Force Tarot is a coaching and Design Thinking method using the cards as a tool, with no ‘fortune-telling’ involved (I have the utmost respect for mediums, but that’s not my field). “Traditional” coaching certainly draws on the subconscious, intuition and energy, but there are no “predictions” set in stone here – we’re talking about free will, informed decisions and actions to move in the right direction. We’re here to chat about work and use tarot imagery to help you uncover your next professional chapter deep within your mind. Intrigued? You’re going to love it.
How a session works
1. The topic
First, we’ll have a chat to fully understand your situation – either during an introductory call or via a questionnaire sent by email or WhatsApp voice message.
2. The questions
During the session, a mind map based on the key questions relating to your situation helps us to move forward, with cards drawn to correspond to those questions.
3. The ideas
We break down the meaning of each card – in the tarot in general and in your specific context. This is where your subconscious really comes into its own, as I explain here.
4. The plan
In a co-creative dialogue, we go a step further and draw up an action plan tailored to your objectives.
5. The bonus
If necessary, we’ll add an extra map and clarify any remaining grey areas.
6. ‘Homework’
After the session, I’ll suggest some routines or exercises to help you continue the process of self-reflection – and build the career you want on a solid foundation.

About me
Former journalist (Marie Claire, Beaux Arts Magazine, ELLE à Paris), creative copywriter (BBDO), author (“How Not to Become a Parisian”), Creative Director and Lead Language Specialist for international marketing giant companies (Apple, Moët & Chandon, Four Seasons, Airbnb, Devialet, Decathlon), Caroline Rochet explored many facets of writing, communication and brand strategy in her “first life”.
Already drawn to cards as a teenager, and in love with pictorial symbolism during her higher education at the École du Louvre, she has always been passionate about the workings of the mind and the power of images. She discovered coaching as a scholar with the American specialist Brooke Castillo at the Life Coach School, undertook training with the French tarot reader and psychotherapist Margot Robert-Winterhalter, and completed world-renowned training and certifications such as those offered by Brigit Esselmont (Australia) in transformational tarot coaching.

I’m not really sure what I want, or what my problem actually is... Can I still book a session?
Oh, absolutely. Waiting until you’ve got everything sorted before starting coaching is like waiting until you’re already fit to go to the gym. :)
Sorry, but is tarot a game, or a kind of fortune-telling thing... Isn’t it a bit odd to use it in a professional context?
Nope. It’s a brilliant, intuitive design thinking tool. It’s a game-changer for saving time when your mind gets stuck. I explain it all in detail on this page, so do have a look.
Can you read the future?
Not at all. I’d love to be a psychic, but I’m not. That said, the synchronicities in tarot are often uncanny, and visual aids really help intuition to come to the surface. You’re going to have some very interesting ‘aha’ moments, and that’s where the magic lies.
OK, you coach people on work matters, but can we talk about personal life as well?
It’s bound to come up at some point. Because professional and personal life are always intrinsically linked. And don’t worry: I’m trained in that too. It’s just that I chose to specialise in career guidance.
Where did you learn tarot coaching?
In my case, I’ve completed 5 years of training and practice in tarot, coaching and tarot coaching, in particular with Brigit Esselmont, Margot Robert Winterhalter and as a Scholar at Brooke Castillo’s LifeCoach School. I’ve worked with people from all over the world (because my most significant training took place in Australia, and we had clients from every country via the internet).
Is this only for those who don't like their job or who are unemployed?
Not necessarily, no. You can love your job and still feel that something isn’t quite right. You might want to stay in the same role. You might have an amazing career. What The Force Tarot and The Shift clients have in common is that something sounds wrong in their professional lives, and they can’t seem to sort it out on their own.
